what types of counseling or therapy do you provide?

individual therapy session: The intake session is one hour in length and all follow up sessions are 50 minutes in length. For pricing information, please check the booking calendar or call 239-673-0600.

children's therapy session: The intake session is one hour in length with guardians present and all follow up sessions are 50 minutes in length. You might be encouraged to come for the first session without your child present. For pricing information, please check the booking calendar or call 239-673-0600.

 

do you accept new registered interns for supervision? 

Yes. We are currently accepting new candidates for licensure supervision.

Interns are accepted based on an initial phone or face to face interview.

We are licensed to supervise Marriage and Family Therapy Registered Interns, Mental Health Counseling Registered Interns and Clinical Social Work Registered Interns.

why should you choose to pay out of pocket? 

Life can bring about changes quickly and it takes lots of courage to reach out for help. Many people value their private information kept between the therapist and themselves, and we respect and appreciate the importance of your confidentiality and privacy. Insurance companies require that therapists submit a diagnosis, which will remain in a person's health record indefinitely when clients request insurance reimbursement. For this reason many people are choosing not to use their health insurance to pay for their therapy.

What is Out-of-Network Reimbursement?

Many insurance policies may reimburse for out-of-network therapists, but only after a person's deductible has been met. We are able to provide you with an invoice if you choose to request reimbursement from your insurance company. You would be responsible for paying for services in full upfront and then can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Should you choose this route, we will help you confirm whether your insurance company covers out of network providers. 

Do you offer a sliding Scale?

Yes. A limited number of scholarship rate sessions are offered each month for those who need financial assistance in paying for their sessions. (Based on financial assessment)

What Forms of payment do you accept?

We accepts cash, checks and credit/debit card payments.

what is your cancellation policy?

48 hr cancellation policy applies to all appointments; except to those that have proof of sudden illness or emergency.
